I hope the boys and girls are enjoying their last days of summer and are looking forward to an exciting and challenging new year! We have been busy this year and this summer with as many activities as we could fit in so our cubs can earn the Summertime Award. Over 90% of our cubs have earned the award for the past 10 years. winding down with our Pack Meeting, looking forward to a Happy and Healthy New Year.
We were excited to once again be the Color Guard at the LI Ducks game in 2019, the game was awesome, them winning was great and the Fireworks were a real blast! July and August went way to fast but our Pack enjoyed many outings this summer such as Cub Family Weekend in July where we had ideal weather for fishing, archery, BBGun shooting, paddle boats and an awesome campfire! Many of our cubs made it to the Movie on the Green outings! Our Fishing Trips was a huge success and we have a date this weekend August 25, wanna come? We are planning A Mini-Golf outing TBD and looking to plan our Welcome Back Pack Meeting ! I am so proud of every cub in our Pack(and their families). Together we will build a strong, successful, educational program that is centered around the Scout Values help build strong bodies and minds and are building great memories!

Remember the saying Do a good turn daily and that A Scout is Helpful. In this spirit, we hope to collect a canned good/ paper good or small box of tissues or box of macaroni from each scout every Pack Night This will really help the St. Kilian Outreach food pantry We are collecting these small donations each month to remind ourselves that we are more fortunate then others that live right in our neighborhood so to help others, we will collect 1 item from each scout each month...please ask your scout to get it at the store or grab it from the pantry and have them carry the item into the Pack night.(please dont spend a lot, get something on sale or if you buy a multipack of paper towels or toilet paper, just grab a roll please).PLEASE, if you cant do this, dont! I know we all are feeling the pinch of the economy, and I know that going to the supermarket lately costs alot more then shopping last year so only do this if you can, no pun intended on the word 'can'
Hope you can join us!
